3. Ohhh the XF

A XF is a new letter grade that is a symbol that a student failed a class due to cheating. Some colleges will also use this letter grade as a sign to show failure of a course due to non-attendance. It’s obviously going to affect me in that if I decide to cheat and get caught, I may receive a XF. I can’t imagine those look very good when they pop out on your transcript.
